ECOSE Technology is a bio-based and sustainable chemistry that replaces the phenol formaldehyde (PF) binder traditionally used in fiberglass products. This binder holds Knauf fiberglass material together, giving it its shape and natural colour. The company also became the first fiberglass insulation manufacturer to offer a full portfolio of fiberglass insulation products that is phenol-formaldehyde free and certified asthma & allergy friendly® by Allergy Standards Limited.
