Founded 30 years ago by the Ramon family, Cabka has been driven by a single vision: circularity. As Alexander Masharov, CEO of Cabka, explains, “At Cabka, we transform waste into value. We take materials nobody wants and engineer them into meaningful logistics assets that industries need.” He adds “Sustainability isn’t just a strategy—it’s the right thing to do. Before we launch new innovations, we ask ourselves: what good will it do for the environment and for the customer?”
Circular Economy in Action
Cabka’s journey began in 1998 with the invention of the first lightweight plastic pallet made entirely from recycled materials. Today, the company operates six production and recycling facilities across Europe and United States, employ over 700 people, and deliver to customers in more than 80 countries. What sets Cabka apart is its backward integration — recycling a significant share of its own raw materials. Its innovation hub in Valencia continues to develop new products and material streams, including pallets, containers, and other returnable transport packaging (RTP). Through its buyback program, used pallets are retrieved, recycled, and reborn—supporting both emissions reduction and supply chain resilience. With an annual capacity of around 10 million pallets, Cabka demonstrates that scale and sustainability can go hand in hand.
